Flash Fill in Microsoft Office Excel 2019
Flash Fill feature used to split cell data and rearrange data in Microsoft Excel 2019. For example, we have a name field with first and last name combination. But we want to name as the last name and first name combination; then we can do it through Flash Fill feature.
Open Microsoft Excel 2019 and enter some names, as below.
As shown above, we have names as first name and last name combination. To arrange names as last name and first name combination, enter value for the first cell, as shown below.
Now got to Data => select Flash Fill, as shown below.
By selecting Flash Fill, it fills data for all cells based on the first cell format, as shown below.
You can also achieve Flash Fill functionality by entering data for the second cell and press enter when it shows options for all other cells as shown below.
